My cleaned-up, shaded, and colored version of a logo I did for FireDancer Designs. May 2005 (original), January 2007 (revised).
If you do digital artwork, you absolutely must get a digital tablet. I used to think I was pretty deft with a mouse, but there's just no comparison. Using a hand-friendly stylus alone is worth the price of admission, but as a bonus you have a tool which captures pen pressure and angle as well. I am deliriously happy with the Wacom tablet that Deborah got for me, and it's a pretty basic model -- you draw on a digitizer pad, not on the screen itself. After a few minutes it becomes second nature.
